MHT CET
Previously, the exam was scheduled for July 4, 6 - 10, 13, 14, 28 to 31, & August 3 to 5, 2020,
by the Government of Maharashtra for B.Pharm admissions. But due to the steep surge in
COVID-19 crisis, the exam has been put on hold again. New dates will be announced soon and
the official notification for the same will be released on the official website of DTE Maharashtra.
On June 4, the State CET Cell published a document enabling aspirants to apply for a change
of exam district preferences at the request of parents and candidates.
The MHT CET B.Pharm admit card 2020 can be downloaded using the necessary credentials
only by officially registered candidates 15 days prior to the conduct of the examination. The
exam is to be conducted for a duration of 180 minutes, with 200 questions from physics,
chemistry, and biology.
MHT CET Exam Pattern
● Examination Mode - Computer-based Test.
● Number of Papers - 3 (Physics/Chemistry, Zoology/Botany and Mathematics).
● Exam Duration - 180 minutes (90 minutes for both groups).
● Question Type - Multiple Choice Questions.
● Negative Marking - N/A.
● Marks per question - Paper 1: +2 marks awarded for every correct answer. Paper 2 and
3: +1 awarded mark for every correct answer.
● Language - English/ Urdu/ Marathi/Urdu & Marathi.
Subject-wise Weightage of MHT CET
● Class 11 - Physics: 10 MCQS, Chemistry: 10 MCQS, Biology (Botany) - 10 MCQS,
Maths - 10 MCQS, Biology (Zoology) - 10 MCQS.

● Class 12 - Physics: 40 MCQS, Chemistry: 40 MCQS, Biology (Botany) - 40 MCQS,
Maths - 40 MCQS, Biology (Zoology) - 40 MCQS.
● 2 marks for each question for Maths & 1 mark for rest, total marks is 100.

MHT CET B.Pharm Eligibility Criteria
1. Aspirants must be informed, before considering an application for MHT CET 2020
B.Pharm, of the eligibility requirements. From the points listed below, applicants can
check the fundamental eligibility criteria.
2. The applicant must be an Indian citizen.
3. Restrictions on age do not apply for MHT CET 2020 B.Pharm.
4. Aspirants are expected to have cleared from a recognized Board or University their 10 +
2 level exams or their equivalent.
5. Candidates must have cleared HSC or its equivalent exam, or have a diploma course in
pharmacy from institutes that are affiliated to the State Board with Physics and
Chemistry as compulsory subjects in addition to Mathematics or Biology and should
have received a minimum 50%.
6. The applicant must have shown up for all the subjects in the CET carried out by the
competent authority and received a non zero score.
7. Applicants who belong to the NRI OCI/PIO, Children of Indian workers in the Gulf
countries or Foreign National category, should have cleared HSC or its equivalent exam
with Physics and Mathematics as mandatory subjects in addition to one Chemistry,
Engineering Drawing, Computer Science, Biology, or Technical Vocational Subject with
a minimum of 50 % marks in the given subjects.
8. Applicants residing in Maharashtra are eligible for the MHT CET B.Pharma 2020, but
only one Maharashtra State Candidature Type must be used for the application.
MHT CET BPharm eligibility for state candidature types
Type-A
● Aspirants who have cleared SSC and HSC or Diploma in Engineering or Bachelor of
Science exam from a well-established institute in the state of Maharashtra.
● A candidate who is either Domicile of Maharashtra and/ or is born in Maharashtra.
Type-B
A candidate who does not fit into Type-A, but who or whose Father or Mother is from the State
of Maharashtra and possesses a Domicile Certificate.
Type-C

A candidate who does not fit into either Type-A or Type-B but whose Father or Mother is
working with the Government of India Undertaking or the Government of India and who has
been placed for duty in the state of Maharashtra prior to the last date for application form
submission.
Type-D
A Candidate who is not eligible for any of the above Type-A, Type B, and Type-C but whose
Father/Mother is an employee or has retired from the Government of Maharashtra Undertaking
or the Government of Maharashtra.
Type-E
Candidates who have a Marathi Mother tongue and who have cleared SSC and/or HSC
Examination from a recognized institute situated in a disputed Maharashtra-Karnataka Border
Area.
MHT CET B.Pharm Application Form 2020
Step 1: Registration
● Candidates must now choose the "For New Registration" button.
● A message pop-up will appear on your screen. Do read all the instructions mentioned
then click the 'OK' button.
● Candidates have to enter with their email ID and Mobile number in the text box and tap
the tab for OTP.
● You will be receiving an OTP that is sent to verify your contact details. It will stay valid
for 5 minutes.
● After email ID and mobile number verification, you will have to enter details as given
below -
○ Parent's valid Email ID
○ Parent's contact number
○ Candidate's First Name
○ Father or Husband's or Guardian's Name
○ Candidate's Surname
○ Candidate Mother's Name
○ Candidate's date of birth
○ Gender
○ User name
○ Password (must have one special character, one alphabet, and one number, and
it should have a minimum of 8 characters).

Once you fill these details, click on 'Register'.
Step 2: Application form filling
● Candidates will be required to visit the Home page and login with the created users'
credentials.
● Then, the screen will show the pre-requisites, fees, and other important details. Carefully
read the instructions and proceed.
● A confirmation message will be seen on the screen. Tap on the 'OK' button.

● An application form will be seen on the screen, which automatically gives your filled
personal details.
● You will then have to enter details like -
○ Address
○ Nationality
○ Domicile certificate
○ Category of the candidate
○ Religion
○ PwD status
○ Bank account details
○ Academic Details
○ Subjects that candidates wish to appear
○ The language of the question paper
○ Faculty preference
○ State preference
○ District preference
Enter the details and then tap on 'Submit'.
Step 3: Document uploading
Photograph
● The photograph must be taken against a white or light background.
● It must be between 15 KB to 50 KB and in JPG format.
Signature
● The Signature must be seen on a white paper with a black ink pen with no capital letters.
● Must be within 5 KB to 20 KB and in JPEG format.
Note: If the photograph is not clear, the candidate application can get rejected.
Step 4: MHT CET B.Pharm payment of fees
● Click on 'Making payment' and pay the fee through Debit card, Credit Card, or Net
Banking modes.
